Rosamonte Selección Especial is an Argentine-style yerba featuring a coarse cut with a significant amount of stems, a mix of large and medium leaves, and very little dust. Upon opening the package, aromas of hay, dried grass, and sweet notes emerge without being overpowering. This yerba is aged for 12–24 months, resulting in a balanced and consistent flavor. Although it undergoes the *Barbacuá* drying process, the characteristic smoky scent is not noticeable when the package is opened. When prepared in a glass mate, it delivers a pronounced yet pleasant bitterness. It is decidedly more expressive and full-bodied than Rosamonte Tradicional, yet it remains balanced and not overly strong. It offers pleasant, slightly sweet notes and is very drinkable. One notable characteristic is its astringency, which is quite high for a yerba of this style. Nevertheless, it remains a high-quality product, and the "Selección Especial" (Special Selection) label is well-deserved. It lasted for a full liter of water, making it 25% more durable than Rosamonte Tradicional. Rating: 8/10.

A must-try for every matero. With the coziness of a campfire, Rosamonte Especial packs a punch in both flavor and effect that has earned it a permanent place on my shelf. Boasts a very full flavor with plummy notes that complement the smoke and wood. Could not recommend more.
