Centenaria Tradicional—a Uruguayan-style yerba produced by Seleme Seleme. It won the Gran Oro Medal at the Yerba Mate World Championship. The packaging is neat and durable, featuring a glossy finish that enhances its appearance and conveys a sense of quality. It has medium intensity, with aromas of wood and cinnamon, and low-to-moderate smokiness—significantly less than Rei Verde Premium. The flavor is lighter and smoother, comparable to Sara Extra Suave, though I find it less flavorful overall. It feels pleasant on the palate but doesn't offer any surprises or leave you craving more. There are no sweet notes. Both bitterness and intensity are low, which was quite disappointing given that I expected much more from an award-winning *yerba*. In my opinion, Rei Verde, Sara, and—obviously—Canarias are far superior in terms of flavor, intensity, and longevity. It barely lasts for a liter before becoming completely washed out. I prepared it at 175°F, though I think 165–170°F would be better. Score: 6/10.
