First time drinking Canarias Serena, earthy, powdery and I am still trying to taste where the sweetness that comes from so far can’t really taste it. Compare to the Argentina brand a little more bitter but overall very nice.

I found it a bit too bitter. More herb-forward than the regular mate flavor.

For me the best Canarias there is! Soft and smooth flavour! Has an awesome aftertaste, and not super bitter! Even on the first sip it feels smooth and very very flavourful. One of the best yerbas

Not my favorite of the Canarias lineup, but still a very good yerba. The floral notes and floury texture are hit or miss for me, but when they hit, they are quite good! More often than not, however, I prefer Canarias traditional

This is a top favorite of mine thus far. I drink it more than any other Yerba mates for now.

I haven’t tried the original Canarias yet but Canarias Serena is the only Uruguayan yerba that I’ve liked so far, although I haven’t tried many. I much prefer Argentine yerbas but if I were to be in the mood for a Uruguayan yerba, this is definitely what I’d go for. The blend of herbs keeps it interesting and not too bold.

Strong, with good flavor, noticeable acidity, and moderate intensity. Incredible long lasting. Maybe avoid it if you've had coffee in the morning. But it's really good. I've mixed it with Serena and it lowers the intensity quite a bit; they blend very well. It lasts me 1.5q or more. Brew at 175 degrees Celsius, but it can handle up to 185, like all finely ground yerba. It's best to use a spoon bombilla or a Brazilian bomba to prevent clogging.

Canarias is probably my favorite Yerba. I reach for it more often than any other. It’s bold and intense, and it’s world famous for a reason, it’s delicious! As you cycle through pours, you’ll notice different flavors start to emerge— that’s one of the beautiful things about Canarias. Canarias is an Uruguayan cut, it’s finely ground, with lots of dust— this is a good thing. I do like variety, so I don’t drink it every day, but I totally could. Because of the bold internee flavor, I don’t recommend it for first time mate drinkers, but at some point you have to put this one in rotation!
